Named after its triangular appearance, the Tri-Tip Roast comes from the bottom sirloin of the animal. It is a very tender cut and can be cooked on the grill, smoker or in the oven. We recommend rubbing with a dry-rub to get a "crust" on this cut. By two of em', because the crowd will always come back for seconds.
