You know those food mashups that make you wonder why the world didn’t think of them sooner? Enter theSmash Taco—the lovechild of a juicy smash burger and a street-style taco. It's what happens when crispy beef edges, melty cheese, and toasted tortillas unite in a sizzling fusion that upgrades any Ground Beef meal. Think of it as a cheeseburger that ditched the bun for something with a little more flair...and a lot more crunch. Quick to make, impossible to eat neatly, and ridiculously good—this isn't your run-of-the-mill Taco Tuesday.
Pinch of Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Smoked Paprika, Salt and Pepper
Directions
Divide the pound of thawed Ground Beef into 6 equal sized balls. Place the individual balls in the center of each corn tortilla and press flat into the edge of each tortilla, so that the patty covers nearly the whole tortilla. Season the Ground Beef side of the tortilla with salt and pepper.
Pre-heat a skillet to medium heat. Once hot, sear the Ground Beef side of Tortilla until brown. Once Ground Beef is crispy, flip the tortilla so the tortilla is in contact with the skillet. Add cheese and melt on top of the Ground Beef. Remove from skillet once cooked through and cheese is melted.
Chop your veggies, combine the ingredients for the sauce and add your favorite burger fixings. Enjoy!
